Course Overview

What it is:

The course combines the core domestic gas safety (CCN1) and central heating/hot water appliance (CENWAT) qualifications, providing the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and competently on these common domestic gas installations and successfully complete the ACS assessments.

Who it's for:

This CCN1 + CENWAT Initial Assessment course is for individuals who've completed a Managed Learning Programme (MLP) and need their ACS for Gas Safe Registration, as well as experienced engineers whose CCN1 & CENWAT have expired by more than 12 months and require an initial reassessment.

It's the essential first step for new entrants to achieve Gas Safe Registration, allowing you to legally work on core domestic gas appliances and central heating/hot water systems. It's also crucial for previously certified engineers whose qualifications have lapsed significantly, enabling them to re-enter the industry legally and safely.
